Part-Time Sales Assistant

Irden is seeking a personable, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our fine jewelry boutique in Edmonds, Washington. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, appreciates thoughtful design and craftsmanship, and takes pride in providing a welcoming, personalized customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and assist them with jewelry selections

• Learn and confidently share information about Irden’s collections, materials, and services

• Support sales, client follow-up, and relationship building

• Process purchases and help maintain accurate customer and product information

• Keep displays and the showroom polished, organized, and inviting

• Assist with special events, promotions, and daily boutique operations

• Support custom jewelry, repair, appraisal, and special-order inquiries as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Warm, professional, and comfortable speaking with clients

• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail

• Genuinely interested in fine jewelry, design, fashion, or luxury retail

• Able to listen carefully and guide clients without creating a high-pressure sales experience

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

• Previous retail, hospitality, luxury, or jewelry experience is preferred, but not required

• Available for a flexible part-time schedule, including some weekends and special events

Compensation

Hourly pay is commensurate with experience, plus commissions.
